An afternoone in the Holloway is as well received as
A little trek to the smoke bench 5 minutes from your house
Dither on the smoke a little broke with these doubts
But a toke & no doubt Ill thrive amongst these crowds

Tackle the fear with a mate who came for the sake of it
Nothing better to do than ride the wave of facing it
Phone lights light up the walk home after late I miss
Summer days spent wasting our time the spot hit

These days summers harder cos age made us quit a bit
Late teens always fade faster than the winter sun
But at least responsibilities dip a bit in Sunny midst
Always chasing the feelings that left us that autumn

Harder to grieve on now sun ain’t as hot
A little trickle from these clouds leaves us under the cosh
But the cloth that were cut from never suffers a lot
I’ll always treasure this heat now that it’s all that we’ve got
